June 23rd, 2026, at approximately 11:30 pm, Zacharey R. Fowler, age 29, of Geneva, NY was arrested for Stalking in the 4th degree and Obstructing Governmental Administration in the 2nd degree. The arrest stems from an incident occurring on June 23rd, 2026 where it is alleged Fowler followed a Waterloo Police Officer for nearly an hour and a half in his vehicle while flashing his high beams and screaming obscenities at the officer. The officer attempted to avoid Fowler by driving down side streets and going into parking lots, and Fowler continued to circle the officer and scream obscenities at him and other law enforcement agencies involved. Fowler also left obscene handwritten notes on the personal vehicles of members of the Waterloo Police Department. After given multiple opportunities to cease the conduct, Fowler was stopped and taken into custody. Fowler was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment. The Waterloo Police Department was assisted by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police, and Seneca Falls Police Department.
June 25th, 2026 at approximately 10:15 pm, Anes T. Mohammed, of Spencerport, NY was arrested for driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with a BAC of 0.08% or greater. The arrest stems from a traffic stop for speeding in a zone. During the investigation, it is alleged that Mohammed was operating the motor vehicle in an intoxicated condition and as determined to have a BAC of 0.12%. Mohammed was UTT’s for the DWI offenses, as well as UTT’s for speed in zone, operating without insurance, and open container, and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court at a later date.
June 27th, 2026 at approximately 9:45 pm, Robert L. Smith, age 57, of Farmington, NY was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; per se. The arrest stems from a civilian complaint where it is alleged Smith’s vehicle was observed almost striking a parked car, and then running a red light. Officers located the reported vehicle and observed traffic violations, including an unsafe turn without using a signal and failure to keep right. A traffic stop was conducted and it was determined that Smith was operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition. He was determined to have a BAC of 0.20%. Smith was issued UTT’s for the offenses and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court at a later date.
