On June 28, 2026, officers arrested Roy E. McBroom III, age 58, of Waterloo, NY. McBroom was charged with Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree following an investigation into an incident where it was alleged that he stole property exceeding $1,000 in value. McBroom was issued an appearance ticket and is to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court on July 22, 2026, at 5 pm.
On June 28th, 2026, at approximately 10:27 pm, Christopher R Demaria, age 22, of Seneca Falls, NY, was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st degree, a felony. The arrest stems from a traffic stop for speed in zone where it is alleged Demaria was determined to have a revoked license with a total of 17 suspensions/revocations. Demaria was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court at a later date.
On June 29, 2026, officers arrested Alex Drake of Waterloo, NY. Drake was charged with Criminal Contempt in the 1st degree following an investigation that determined he violated a Class A order of protection by engaging in a course of conduct that caused the victim to fear physical injury. He was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await a central arraignment.
On June 29th, officers arrested Keishaly C. Viruet, a 32-year-old resident of Rochester, NY. Viruet was charged with endangering the welfare of a child following an investigation into an incident where it is alleged she was seen striking her child repeatedly with her hand and a sandal. She is scheduled to appear in Waterloo Town Court on a later date.
On June 30th, 2026, at approximately 12:55 am, Manuel B Salinas, age 40, of Waterloo, NY, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with a BAC of 0.08% or greater. The arrest stems from a traffic stop where it is alleged Salinas was operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and had no insurance on the vehicle. Upon investigation, it was determined that Salinas was operating in an intoxicated condition and was found to have a BAC of 0.08%. Salinas was issued UTT’s for the offenses and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court at a later date
