Arrests July 12th to July 18th

On July 13th, 2026, at approximately 1:57 PM, an 11-year-old juvenile, whose name is being withheld due to their age, was arrested for petit larceny and criminal tampering in the third degree. This arrest stems from an investigation into an incident that occurred on June 14th, during which the juvenile allegedly uncovered totes at a garage sale, where they stole items and caused damage to property. An appearance ticket was issued to the Seneca County Probation Department at a later date.

On July 15th, 2026, at about 2:33 pm, officers arrested a 17-year-old juvenile, whose name is being withheld due to age. The juvenile was charged with four counts of Criminal Tampering in the Third Degree, Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, and Resisting Arrest, following an incident in which it was alleged that the juvenile tampered with personal property, causing substantial inconvenience and damage, and resisted officers when taken into custody. The juvenile was issued an appearance ticket and is to appear at the Seneca County Probation Department at a later date.
