On July 8, 2026, at approximately 11:20 am, Michael J. Tobin, 34, of Lyons, NY, was arrested on an Arrest Warrant for Aggravated Harassment in the 2nd degree. The arrest stems from an incident occurring on June 8th, 2026, where it is alleged that Tobin sent electronic messages that were threatening in nature. Tobin was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment, and an order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
On July 9th, 2026, at approximately 9:55 pm William C. Parmer, age 66, of Waterloo, NY, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with a BAC of 0.08% or greater. The arrest stems from a traffic stop where it is alleged Parmer was driving in the opposing lane of traffic and was found to be operating in an intoxicated condition. Further investigation revealed he had a BAC of 0.15%. Parmer was issued UTT’s for the offenses and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court at a later date.
