Arrest – Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd

The Waterloo Police Department reports, on June 27th, 2022 at 11:22pm officers arrested Lamar Eldridge, age 26, of Geneva, NY.  Eldridge was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd and Speed in Zone after a traffic stop where Eldridge was determined to be operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license.  Eldridge was issued traffic ticket’s and is to appear in the Village of Waterloo Court on July 6th, 2022 at 5:00pm.

Arrest – Criminal Mischief 3rd

The Waterloo Police Department reports, on June 26, 2022 at about 8:52am officers arrested Manuel Valentin Centeno, age 41, of Waterloo, NY. Valentin was charged with Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree following a domestic incident where it is alleged that he damaged property. Valentin was secured in the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await central arraignment.

The Waterloo Police Department was assisted by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.

Arrest – Criminal Possession of a Firearm

The Waterloo Police Department reports, on June 24th, 2022 at about 6:41pm officers arrested Victoria B. Farina, age 51, of Fuquay Varina, NC for Criminal Possession of a Firearm. The arrest stems from an incident that occurred on June 13th, 2022 where it is alleged that Farina possessed two pistols and did not have an active pistol permit in the State of New York. Farina was released with an appearance ticket and is to appear in Waterloo Village Court on July 20th, 2022 at 5:00pm.  

Arrest – Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd

The Waterloo Police Department reports on June 16th, 2022 at approximately 9:32am Officers arrested Dominique Sapp, age 35, of Geneva, NY. Sapp was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operator in the 2nd degree and un-inspected Motor Vehicle. The charges stem from a traffic stop for an expired inspection where Sapp was found to be operating on a suspended license. Sapp was released on traffic tickets and scheduled to appear in the Village of Waterloo Court at a later date. 

Arrest – Driving While Intoxicated

The Waterloo Police Department reports, on June 18th, 2022 at 11:54pm officers arrested Ian J. Doyle, age 21, of Waterloo, NY.  Doyle was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving with .08 of 1% or more Alcohol and Operating a Motor Vehicle while Using a Portable Electronic Device.  The charges stem from a traffic stop where Doyle was operating a motor vehicle while using his cell phone and determined to be driving while intoxicated.  Doyle was issued an appearance ticket and is to appear in the Village of Waterloo Court on July 6th 2022 at 5:00pm.

Arrest – Burglary 2nd and Assault 2nd

The Waterloo Police Department reports, on June 16th, 2022 at 1:59pm officers arrested Matthew G. Palmer, age 38, of Auburn, NY. Palmer was taken into custody on an arrest warrant issued out of the Village of Waterloo Court for Burglary 2nd degree and Assault 2nd degree. It is alleged that Palmer entered/remained in a residence in the Village of Waterloo and assaulted an individual while inside of the residence. Palmer was secured in the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await centralized arraignment.

Arrest – Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance

The Waterloo Police Department reports on June 9th , 2022 at approximately 4:52 pm officers arrested Mackenzie I. Verkey, age 20, of Seneca Falls, NY. Verkey was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th following a report that Verkey was possibly in possession of a narcotic while at a local business. Upon further investigation is alleged that Verkey was in possession of a quantity of Methamphetamine. Verkey was processed and released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Village of Waterloo Court on July 6th, 2022 at 5:00 pm. 

Arrest – Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd, Operating out of Ignition Interlock Restriction

The Waterloo Police Department reports, on June 8th, 2022 at 2:10am officers arrested Alvin Colon, age 50, of Rochester, NY.  Colon was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd, Operating out of Ignition Interlock Restriction, Uninspected Motor Vehicle and Inoperable Headlight.  The charges stem from a traffic stop on North Virginia Street in the Village of Waterloo for an inoperable headlight, where Colon was determined to have a revoked license.  Colon was issued traffic ticket’s and is to appear in the Village of Waterloo Court on July 6th, 2022 at 5:00pm.

Arrest – Criminal Mischief 4th

The Waterloo Police Department reports, on June 5th, 2022 at about 3:30am officers arrested Michael J Caster, 38, of Waterloo, NY. Caster was taken into custody on an Arrest Warrant for Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree (NYS PL 145.00-1) issued out of the Village of Waterloo Court. The charges stem from an incident where it is alleged that Caster caused damage to the tire of a vehicle. Caster was secured in the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await central arraignment.

Arrest – Displaying Forged Certificate of Inspection

The Waterloo Police Department reports, on 6/3/22 at 11:16pm officers arrested Brian Macgill, age 48, of Waterloo, NY.  Macgill was charged with Displaying a Forged Certificate of Inspection after a suspicious vehicle complaint in the Village of Waterloo.  He was issued a uniform traffic ticket and is to appear in the Village of Waterloo Court on July 6th, 2022 at 5:00pm.
