On January 21st, 2021 at about 6:21pm the Waterloo Police Department responded to the report of a personal injury motor vehicle accident in the area of 22 East Main St. Upon investigation, it was found that Stephen Doyle of Phelps, NY was operating a 2021 GMC Sierra, and attempted to make a U-turn out of the parking lane to go west bound on East Main St, driving into the path of another vehicle. The other vehicle, a 2014 GMC Arcadia operated by Brittany Clink of Waterloo, NY, struck Doyle’s vehicle as she was traveling east on East Main St. Minor injuries were reported and North Seneca Ambulance responded to assist at the scene. Doyle was issued traffic tickets for Improper U-turn and fail to yield right of way, to return to the Village of Waterloo Court at a later date. The Waterloo Police Department was assisted by the Waterloo Fire Department and Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
