On 7/4 at approximately 12:18 AM the Waterloo Police Department and Waterloo Fire Department responded to 51 Church St in the Village of Waterloo for the report of a structure fire. Upon arrival a fire was discovered on the north side of the residence. The fire was extinguished and contained to the northern side of the property and at the time of the fire the residence was unoccupied.
The Waterloo Police Department and Waterloo Fire Department were assisted on scene by the Seneca Falls Fire Department, Fayette Fire Department, Border City Fire Department, Geneva Fire Department, North Seneca Ambulance, and the Seneca County Fire Investigation Team. The cause of the fire is under active investigation.
