Arrest blotter 5/25/24 – 6/10/24

May 25, 2024 at about 6:50pm, officers arrested Desiree R. Clark, age 24, of Waterloo, NY. Clark was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child following an incident where it was alleged that Clark left a 1-year-old child in a vehicle unsupervised for approximately 20 minutes while she and another individual went into a second story residence.  Clark was issued an appearance ticket and is to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court on June 19, 2024 at 5pm.

May 30th, 2024 at approximately 3:30 pm, Daniel T Smith, age 66, of Waterloo, NY was arrested for Rape in the 1st degree, strangulation in the 2nd degree, and forcible touching. The arrest stems from an incident occurring on April 7th, 2024 where it is alleged Smith choked the victim, and punched her in the face several times before making her unclothe herself, and eventually had sexual intercourse with her. Smith was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment and an order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim.

June 4th, 2024 at approximately 6:23 pm Jeremy E Schulling, age 29, of  Phelps, NY was arrested for Felony DWI, Felony Aggravated DWI, and Felony Leandra’s Law DWI. The arrest stems from a traffic stop where it is alleged Schulling was stopped for speed in zone (55 MPH in a posted 30 MPH zone), and was found to be operating in an intoxicated condition with two young children in the vehicle. Schulling later was determined to have a BAC of 0.22%, nearly three times the legal limit. Schulling was issued several UTT’s and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Fayette Court at a later date. 

On June 10th, 2024 officers arrested Brandy K Elliott, age 31, of Waterloo, NY. Elliott was arrested on a Bench Warrant for the original charge of Petit Larceny. Elliott was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility where she was released on her own recognizance and is to appear in the Waterloo Town Court at a later date.

On June 10th, 2024 at approximately 4:35 pm a juvenile, whose name is being withheld due to age was arrested for Petit Larceny and Criminal Tampering in the 3rd degree. The arrest stems from an incident occurring on June 6th, 2024 where it is alleged the juvenile stole another individual’s bike and then proceeded to spray paint it. The juvenile was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Seneca County Probation department at a later date.
