Arrest blotter 6/14/24

The Waterloo Police Department reports, on June 14, 2024 at about 9:02am officers arrested Matthew R. Garneau, age 23, of Waterloo, NY. Garneau was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree after he was detained on an arrest warrant for the New York State Police, and it was discovered that he was in possession of a substance suspected of being crack cocaine. Garneau was issued an appearance ticket and is to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court on July 17, 2024 at 5pm and released to the custody of the State Police. Waterloo Police Department was assisted by the New York State Police and the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.

The Waterloo Police Department reports, on June 14, 2024 at about 2:44pm officers arrested Jonathan G. Toledo, age 35, of Waterloo, NY. Toledo was charged with Trespassing following a report that he was on a property from which he had previously been formerly banned. Toledo was issued an appearance ticket and is to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court on July 17, 2024 at 5pm.

The Waterloo Police Department reports on June 14th 2024 at approximately 3:29 pm Chelsea Ticer, 34, of Seneca Falls was arrested for Burglary in the 2nd degree, Grand Larceny in the 4th degree, Criminal Tampering in the 3rd degree and Neil Mcmillen, 45, of Seneca Falls was arrested for Criminal Tampering in the 3rd degree. The arrest stems from an incident occurring on June 7th 2024 where it is alleged that Ticer entered a residence without permission to do so and after entering the residence, with the help of Mcmillen, moved several large furniture items along with other various items onto the front porch, causing a substantial inconvenience. Ticer later left the residence on foot stealing several items and the value of the property exceeded $1,000. Mcmillen was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court on a later date and Ticer was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment.
