The Waterloo Police Department reports, on July 23, 2024 at about 3:50pm, officers arrested Matthew R. Garneau, age 23, of Waterloo, NY. Garneau was arrested on an active arrest warrant and charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fifth Degree following investigation into a report of stolen property, and Garneau was allegedly found to be in possession of said property. Garneau was secured in the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await central arraignment. Waterloo Police Department was assisted by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office and the New York State Police.
The Waterloo Police Department reports on July 25th, 2024 at approximately 6:47 pm Kaylee N Howcroft, age 37, of Waterloo, arrested for Aggravated Harassment in the 2nd degree. The arrest stems from an incident occurring on July 25th, 2024 where it is alleged Howcroft sent threatening messages to the victim. Howcroft was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment during the Centralized Arraignment Process, an Order of Protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
The Waterloo Police Department reports on July 25th, 2024 at approximately 10:30 pm a juvenile from Geneva, NY was arrested for Petit Larceny. The arrest stems from an incident occurring on July 17th, 2024 where it is alleged the juvenile stole a bicycle out of a Village residents yard. The juvenile was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Seneca County Probation Department at a later date.
The Waterloo Police Department reports on July 25th, 2024 at approximately 8:23 pm Tyshawn D Bice, age 51, of Waterloo, arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. The arrest stems from a motor vehicle accident occurring on July 25th, 2024 where it is alleged Bice rear ended another vehicle on the roadway and was found to be operating his motor vehicle in an impaired condition. Bice was issued a UTT’s for following to close, DWI and DWI greater than a 0.08% and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court at a later date.
The Waterloo Police Department reports, on July 26th, 2024 at approximately 5:43pm a juvenile age 11, whose name is being withheld due to age, was arrested for criminal mischief in the third degree. The arrest stems from an incident occurring on June 7th, 2024 where it is alleged that the juvenile kicked a door causing $700 in damage. The juvenile was issued an appearance ticket and is to appear at the Seneca County Probation Department at a later date.
The Waterloo Police Department reports on July 26th, 2024 at approximately 5:52pm, Teresa Jensen, 27, of Waterloo, NY was arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation in the 2nd degree and cited for unregistered motor vehicle. The arrest stems from a traffic stop where it is alleged that Jensen was operating an unregistered vehicle was found to hold a suspended non-driver ID. Jensen is to appear in the Waterloo Town Court at a later date.
